CoCollectors is a foraging game for studying how children select partners for collaboration in situations where the behavioral traits of potential partners could be inferred from observations and the choice of a partner could directly influence children’s success in the game. In the game, kobos collect berries and can potentially collaborate with each other. The game is customizable by the researchers, who can specify the behavioral characteristics, such as speed and helpfulness, of the kobos, as well as the resources available for them. The game records the players’ behavior for later analysis.
